Believe it or not, I have interests! Here are a few of them.

METAL GEAR SOLID

My pride and joy. Probably one of my most well known interests for obvious reasons, so you can find plenty about it wherever you look, but I'll still give a brief rundown.

Metal Gear Solid (or, technically just Metal Gear, though the games prior to MGS aren't usually regarded as the starting point for getting into the series) is a tactical stealth/action game series written by Hideo Kojima, who also made Death Stranding and some other stuff. (I haven't played any of it. No Otacon.) It follows a genetically engineered super-soldier codenamed Solid Snake as he attempts to shut down the U.S. governments various attempts at creating giant murder robots to start wars. It's a really fascinating piece of political commentary and stands on its own both as a good game series with great characters and an incredibly detailed critique of the war-based obsession and economy of the U.S. Also it has Otacon and he's kind of like if Shinji Ikari was a white boy who watched Evangelion and based his whole personality on it. He's me but with familial issues.

It's also very gay for no real reason, although there are like five or six total women with actual characters so there's only one instance of yuri. Sad!

ACE ATTORNEY

Have you ever watched a trial and thought to yourself "Man, I wish this was the most insane thing possible"? Well, you're in luck, because there's a way to experience that!

Ace Attorney is a series developed by Shu Takumi of Capcom, who is also responsible for Ghost Trick. It follows Phoenix Wright, a newly-appointed lawyer, as he proves himself in court against various degrees of absurdity in the form of whip-wielding German prosecutors, the world's worst circus, a literal parrot, and a long-forgotten childhood friend who is developing "unessesary feelings" for him.

The first three games are the "main" ones, but main prosecutor Miles Edgeworth has his own spinoffs, the second of which is my favorite Ace Attorney game overall (Play the fan translation, the official one has infinitely worse character names), and there are three games set some time later that follow Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes, two other defense attorneys.

Also there's The Great Ace Attorney which is about Phoenix's ancestor from Japan and it has a guy named Herlock Sholmes who is exactly what you would expect from a guy with that name. Go play those ones too they're absurdly funny.

LIMBUS COMPANY

Mandatory disclaimer: You will not like this game if you did not enjoy English class. It is literally just that but with monsters and other weirder stuff.

Limbus Company is (kind of) the third in a series of games by the Korean studio Project Moon, though it's far more independant from the previous two than they were to each other. It follows a cast of 13 classic literary characters led by nonbinary amnesiac object head Dante Aleghiri as they fight psychological monsters known as Abnormalities and confront their pasts along the way.

Honestly, I played it simply because it had Kafka stuff in it, but it's one of the most faithful adaptations of The Metamorphosis I've ever seen in terms of actually tying itself to Kafka's own identity and the story's semi-autobiographical nature. It also made Wuthering Heights not racist and is the only version of it that I like, so there's that. ALso everyone is a girl now. Rodion from Crime and Punishment is a beautiful woman with a gambling addiction, Don Quixote is a weirdgirl, and everyone in Moby Dick aside from the whale and a few dead guys is a lesbian. Glory to yuriville.

JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE

I couldn't explain this even if I tried. The only time that "playlist made by the author to listen to while you read" will ever work.

UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE

I'm bored of writing descriptions man I'll get back to this one. hi im sans erererer give me a tootsie roll

HOMESTUCK

Every time this gets recommended it becomes less enticing to read. Just click if you want and don't if you don't. Solid 7/10.
